Walk of Life -Day 29 – Thoughts from the Book of Proverbs
Proverbs 29.26: Many seek the ruler’s favor, but justice for man comes from the Lord.
Many of us try to seek help from people in the world for different things, most commonly, a college admission, getting a job, or probably trying to find favor for a promotion, or the like. Some trust in chariots, some in horses, but will remember the Name of the Lord our God. (Psalm 20:7).
The one who knows the Almighty God trusts in His help as it is said in Psalm 121.1 “My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.” Though we seek their favor, the final decision is from God, so never be upset with people for their decisions.
We need to submit our requests with thanksgiving to God and He will take care of it. He will grant us help through people if it is His will. God’s plans and purposes will ultimately prevail in our life if we are God-fearing and seek God’s help in prayer, we will be amazed to see how our Lord works even in the minutest things of our life. It is so pleasant to obtain the favor of Lord Jesus Christ than any human. When we find the favor of God we will obtain the favor of man too as everything is under God’s control.
Luke 1.28 says …And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”
Are you chosen by God to receive His favor?
Are you rejoicing in the favor of God more than the favor of man?
Sometimes when God places us in unfavorable situations are you praising Him?
