Walk of Life- Day 20, November 2021- Give Thanks unto the Lord.
GIVE THANKS FOR HIS GRACE.
1 Corinthians 1:4 “I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;”
Ephesians 2: 8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,”
It is Grace, by which we are saved. We need to thank the Lord at all times for His grace which has made us worthy of what we are not and can never be worthy of. We are neither worthy to be forgiven of our sins nor are we worthy to be able to call upon the Lord. Through His grace, for all those who have faith in the Lord Jesus, God hath enabled them to be forgiven of their sins and He gave them a great privilege to be called as His sons and daughters.
Shall we not thank the Lord for this wonderful saving grace?
2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Apostle Paul asks the Lord to heal him of his infirmity, not once, but thrice. The reply that he received from God is ‘My grace is sufficient for thee…’ In our walk of life, we come across many things that we do not feel comfortable to have with us. We keep on praying for their absence or removal, but often see that we happen to travel along with those things. What makes us move forward, despite of the discomfort? It is only the grace of God provided in sufficiency to us, which enables us to move forward. We all have weaknesses, we aren’t an exemption to it. We need not worry about those weaknesses, because we have the grace of God in sufficiency which strengthens us during our weaknesses.
Today, tell your soul: His grace is sufficient.
In my weariness, His grace is sufficient.
In my brokenness, His grace is sufficient.
In my failures and fears, His grace is sufficient.
In my storms, His grace is sufficient.
In my illness, His grace is sufficient.
In my loneliness, His grace is sufficient.
In my hopelessness, His grace is sufficient.
In my weakness, His grace is sufficient.
In my hurt, His grace is sufficient.
Let us thank the Lord for His grace which is strengthening us during our weakness and helping us to march forward despite having the infirmities. His grace is sufficient, more than enough…stay strong and cheer up…Hold on to Him and move on. God is faithful.
