Walk Of Life – Day 01, November 2021 – Give Thanks Unto The Lord!

Give Thanks For He Is Good

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. – Psalm 107:1

Ten months of the year 2021 has rolled away and we have stepped in to our 11th month. There is a song that’s very close to my heart which goes like this.
I’ve had many tears and sorrows, I’ve had questions for tomorrow,
there’s been times I didn’t know right from wrong.
But in every situation, God gave me blessed consolation,
that my trials come to only make me strong.
Through it all,
through it all,
I’ve learned to trust in Jesus,
I’ve learned to trust in God.

I’ve been to lots of places,I’ve seen a lot of faces,
there’s been times I felt so all alone.
But in my lonely hours,yes, those precious lonely hours,
Jesus lets me know that I was His own

I thank God for the mountains,and I thank Him for the valleys,
I thank Him for the storms He brought me through.
For if I’d never had a problem, I wouldn’t know God could solve them,
I’d never know what faith in God could do.

Whatever might be our situation the reason that we exist is purely the blessings and mercies of our Lord for he is always good to us and nothing He permits in our life can become bad. As the word of god says in Romans 8:28 “All things work together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His promise.”

In all situations utter that God is good. He has lead us so miraculously that we exist today in this world. We can testify to this world that He has been so so good every moment of our life. How many instances we have tasted His goodness. May be at the moment we might not understood what He is up to but just remember they are only for good. Say today that God is good even if you are not OK with all that’s happening around you.

Many years back my dad very hastily and immediately took his voluntary retirement and as a family we were not alright with his decision. Added to that he wanted to set up his business at our home which stirred up more fire. But as a family we stood with him. God honoured his faith and after many years we understood the divine plan of our Lord. As he got his retirement earlier he got all the settlements from the organization where he was working but later on the organization itself was abruptly shut down and all the other employees did not receive their settlements. Our Lord knows our future which we cannot understand by standing at the present.

My dear brothers and sisters, Say the Lord is good and Thank Him today for all His goodness bestowed in our life. He is your heavenly Father and will not surely allow anything that is wrong.

Thank The Lord For He is Good.
