Walk Of Life – Day 07, November 2021 – Give Thanks Unto The Lord
For He Has Done Excellent Things
Sing to the LORD, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth.- Isaiah 12:5
The verse says that it is known in all the earth. What is known in all the earth? The excellent things done by our Lord. The way the world is created is amazing and excellent. There cannot be anything added or deleted or modified to make it excellent by human efforts. Every creature is excellent. Every system of the human body is far too excellent. Too marvelous for comprehension.
Prophet Isaiah tells the people of Israel to sing praises to God for His glorious things. Indeed, God had done great things for them. He redeemed Israelites from the Egyptian slavery and gave them the land of milk and honey. He satisfied their needs and helped them to win many wars against powerful nations. He gave them law covenants along with great promises. Likewise, there are countless things that God did for His people. Hence, the prophet asks them to sing to the LORD, and proclaim His name among nations. Similarly, even in our life, God had done glorious things. He had accepted Gentiles like us because of the faith we have in Jesus Christ. He had revealed to us His glorious plan for the mankind. He forgives our sins gracefully and guides us in this dark world. Further, He had given us the greatest heavenly promises.
It is good to always sing unto the Lord with all your heart because no matter how small it might seem, God has done something great for you. Singing to the Lord should not just be in praises with the lips but with your lifestyle.
It will be ungrateful of you to compromise your stand in the presence of God because of the challenges you are facing. The challenges you face in serving God are stepping stones to your land of success.
At times, you may ask: why should I sing songs of praises to God or thank Him always? The reason you need to bless the name of the Lord always is because whatsoever you have presently, some people do not have them and this means you are better than them in that regard. There are blessings in praising God and one of it is unending Joy.

Yes, my beloved brothers and sisters take time to praise the Lord for all the excellent things that our Lord has done to you and so will I. He has done many things than it could be counted. Great things beyond measure. Thank the Lord for each and every thing.
Get rid of all anxieties, doubts and fears. Don’t say that i don’t have any reason to give thanks or to be motivated. Keep thanking the Lord for He has done excellent things.
