Jesus Christ – Our God and King

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. – Proverbs 25 : 2

Shepherds came and adored Him, kings from the east set off their journey to worship Him, angels in the highest were rejoicing with exceeding gladness over the birth of a small baby boy. Even the trees, clouds, animals, seas and all creation should have rejoiced over the birth of this single child. A great joy prevailed because God, the creator of the whole universe contained himself in the womb of a woman for so many months and was born into this world.

This happened on one pleasant day but was concealed in the heart of God for a very long time. Right from the moment the first man and woman erred, God concealed the thought of sending His only Son, the Prince of peace to this world to save the lost humanity. He had no other choice other than His only son. Isaiah 6:8 says “I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” The Father did not directly ask the Son but rather concealed in His heart and the King Jesus Christ searched it out and offered God a solution that He will go.

It’s just like a child of a family telling his widowed helpless mother, “Mom, I will leave my education and all my other desires and will work to provide for our large family.” I tell you it’s much more than that.

Christ Jesus: Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross. (Philippians 2:5-8)

As sons and daughters of This Great King, called to be as kings and priests let us search about Him more and understand about everything that has been concealed so that when he comes the second time As the Lion of Judah we shall be like Him.Let us be zealous to search all the hidden things. just like a small child let us be curious to know about the God and King more and more and be excited in the knowledge of understanding Him.
