Walk Of Life – Day 25, November 2021 – Give Thanks Unto The Lord For!
Give Thanks For He Is Faithful And Just
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.- 1 John 3:9
We have many reasons to be thankful. I’m sure you are thankful for your family. You’re probably thankful for your home and your health. However, there’s something for which we should be even more thankful. “For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations” (Psalm 100:5).
Sometimes we question God’s goodness. Occasionally, things haven’t gone as we would like for them to go, and we question Him. Maybe this has happened to you. Have you lost a family member, your health, or found yourself in a significant financial strain? Perhaps at that moment you questioned the Lord. In spite of those difficulties, the Lord is good. In fact, Romans says that “all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” If you are His, even in those hard times, the Lord is good. For that we should be thankful.
Throughout this year He made us to cling on to His promises and He has been faithful to us at all times. His faithfulness is what we are not at all worthy of. He has been mindful of us at all situations. As He has promised He has set us free from all our iniquities and our transgressions. He has washed us and cleansed us from our sins. He is faithful and at the same time He is Just and so the plan of redemption was not just like a magic but by his shedding of His pure blood. When we confessed our sins to Him faithfully and justly He has cleansed us from all our sins and has made us pure.
Even now if you are carrying the burden of your sins without confessing it to our Lord this is the time now to do so. Fill your heart with thanksgiving for the forgiveness that you have received and for the cleansing act that our faithful and Just God has done to us. He has cleansed us from all the unrighteousness. What a faithful and just God who cares and helps us to be free from the burden of all sins.
Lord all sovereign Granting peace from heaven
Let me comfort those who suffer With the comfort You have given
I will tell of Your great love For as long as i live
Singing what a faithful God have I!
