Who am I? – My Identity in Christ
I am sure that you have observed that a majority of jobs in this world have a uniform.When you are in that uniform, you remember your duty and you ought to meet up to the expectations of the concerned authorities. For example, a policeman, nurses, doctors, and so on
Have you ever wondered who you are deep within? If you have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, you are a child of the Most High God, the Ruler of heaven and earth. We are friends, co-workers, and ambassadors for Christ. You freely receive these privilege when you are truly keen in knowing who you are and what is your purpose.
We all know the story of the prodigal son. He lost all the money that his father gave him and became empty-handed. When he became poor,lonely, and hungry, only then HE CAME TO HIMSELF and realised what privileges he had lost in the Father’s house.
We all start well…are born again, go to church regularly, read our Bibles, but slowly we lose the fellowship of the Heavenly Father. Are we aware that we are God’s children and God had made us his disciples once we become His Children? As an ambassador for Christ are you showing forth the world Lord Jesus? Are we like light and salt that people seeing our good works glorify the Father in heaven? Or are you still struggling in sin unable to get up?If so, ask the Lord for forgiveness. Do not be a man pleaser…My meat is to do the Will of my Father who sent me, the Lord Jesus said.
